At Emberkind, we’re more than sauna makers - we’re rural entrepreneurs and wellbeing enthusiasts who turned a love of nature, people, and beautiful design into a soulful, thriving business. Co-founded by Tim Bowles, who brought the first wood-fired saunas to the Bath area, Emberkind blends commercial know-how with a deep appreciation for real human connection.
Our co-founder Alistair - architect, designer, and local creative, brings award-recognised expertise to every build. His thoughtful, contemporary designs honour the timeless tradition of Finnish sauna culture, creating spaces that feel like the new village pub thats warm, welcoming, and alive with community.

Tim’s IceBreakers men’s community found its natural sauna home here, and we’ve seen the impact that shared heat, cold, and open conversation can have.
